WK Digital (ABN 63 129 439 738) is an Australian software development company. Our registered office is 19/10 Eagle Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. We build custom software, AI integrations, and digital platforms for Australian businesses.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We collect personal information only when it is reasonably necessary to provide our services or respond to your enquiry. This may include:

  • Information you provide in enquiry forms, booking requests, or during project scoping
  • Communications between you and WK Digital

We do not collect sensitive information (as defined by the Privacy Act) unless you volunteer it in correspondence and we have a lawful basis for using it.

  • Cal.com — booking and scheduling
  • SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional email delivery
  • ElevenLabs — AI voice agent (website widget)
  • Vultr — Australian-hosted cloud infrastructure

These providers are engaged under data processing agreements and are only permitted to use personal information to provide their services to us. Where these providers are located outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WK Digital, our clients, or others.

5. Website analytics and cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and understand how visitors use the site. This may include:

  • Session cookies required for the website to function
  • Analytics data (aggregated, not used to identify individuals)

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some website features may not function as intended. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.

Personal information held by WK Digital is stored on Australian-hosted servers (Vultr, Sydney region). We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure. If you have concerns about transmitting information to us, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

8. Access and correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or misleading. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within 30 days. In some circumstances we may be unable to provide access (for example, where it would unreasonably impact the privacy of another individual), and we will explain why.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
