AULogistics, a leading 3PL warehouse in Brisbane, was operating with 100% paper-based processes. This created inefficiencies, delays in invoicing, and limited visibility for customers. The business needed to modernize quickly without disrupting operations.

We identified that off-the-shelf software would be more cost-effective than custom solutions where possible. We implemented Carton Cloud, a proven Australian WMS with all necessary features for standard warehouse operations. This enabled real-time inventory tracking, customer portals, and Xero integration.

Export Consolidation Solution
For AULogistics’ growing export consolidation service, we found no suitable off-the-shelf option. Instead of an expensive custom solution, we implemented Airtable to replace spreadsheets with relational database capabilities. We added Softr to create customer portals and automated the data flow from WhatsApp communications directly into the system.
The final challenge was streamlining transport coordination for container shipments. We developed a custom solution powered by Claude AI to handle the complex but repeatable workflows. This system autonomously coordinates bookings, tracks shipments, and communicates with transport providers while allowing human oversight.
